Coldline Freezer Master 1200 A120/2BV – 2 glass doors, -18/-22 °C, Plug-in, 1,155 l

The Coldline A120/2BV is a two glass-door freezer from the Master 1200 range, holding -18/-22 °C in a cabinet of 1,155 litres gross and 733 litres net. In the code A120/2BV, A120 is the 1200 body, /2 the number of doors, B the -18/-22 °C range and V the glass door. The plug-in A120/2BV carries its own condensing unit, charged with 150 g of R290, GWP 3. Coldline offers the A120/2BV with its Master Marine solutions variant.

Inside the cabinet

Coldline ships the A120/2BV with 6 slides for 53x53 cm shelves, 6 plastic coated 53x53 cm shelves, lock with key, LED lighting. The A120/2BV has two self-closing doors with a 105° stop, hinged on the right, glazed, as the V in the code shows. A 75 mm insulated single body in AISI 304 stainless steel, with galvanized/colaminated back, base and technical compartment, encloses 733 litres of storage with rounded inner corners. On the A120/2BV the magnetic triple-chamber gaskets are replaceable, while racks, slides, the 2 mm handle and the 100/150 mm adjustable feet are AISI 304. An electronic controller with a flush display sets the -18/-22 °C range.

Refrigeration data

Coldline gives the A120/2BV a cooling capacity of 692 W (evaporating at -30 °C, condensing at +55 °C) and a total rate of 1,100 W at 5 A on 220-240 V 50 Hz; defrost is hot gas. Its energy label is class E, with an energy efficiency index of 84.1, 4,276 kWh a year and 11.715 kWh in 24 hours at climate class 4.

Choosing between codes

Its remote counterpart, the A120/2BRV, moves the condensing unit out of the galley and its heat with it; it runs on R452a, is listed at 220-240 V 50-60 Hz and weighs 205 kg net against 240 kg. With a solid door, as the A120/2B, published consumption falls from 4,276 to 2,500 kWh a year. In the same configuration, the smaller A70/1BV holds 601 litres gross in 740 mm width and the larger A140/2BV holds 1,356 litres gross in 1,480 mm, against 1,155 litres in 1,480 mm for the A120/2BV.

Marine version

Coldline describes its Master Marine section as made for installation on ships and on oil and floating platforms, combining Master refrigeration with the safety specifications of the marine industry. The figures on this page are those Coldline publishes for the standard A120/2BV; there is no separate marine data sheet, so the marine construction is confirmed with Coldline when we quote. At 220-240 V 50 Hz as published, the A120/2BV can also be ordered with a 60 Hz supply or another special voltage, both listed as variants. Getting it on board

The A120/2BV measures 1,480 mm wide, 715 mm deep and 2,085 mm high and weighs 240 kg net. Packed it is 1,575 × 930 × 2,144 mm and 266 kg, the size to check against doors, hatches and passageways on the way to the galley or provision store.
