Coldline Freezer Master 350 A30/1B – 1 door, -18/-22 °C, Plug-in, 334 l

The Coldline A30/1B is a single-door freezer from the Master 350 range, holding -18/-22 °C in a cabinet of 334 litres gross and 225 litres net. In the code A30/1B, A30 is the 350 body, /1 the number of doors and B the -18/-22 °C range. The plug-in A30/1B carries its own condensing unit, charged with 95 g of R290, GWP 3. Coldline offers the A30/1B with its Master Marine solutions variant.

Inside the cabinet

As supplied, the A30/1B comes with 3 slides for GN 1/1 shelves, 3 plastic coated GN 1/1 shelves, lock with key, LED lighting. The A30/1B has a self-closing door with a 105° stop, hinged on the right. Inside and out the A30/1B is AISI 304 stainless steel, apart from a galvanized/colaminated back, base and technical compartment, with 75 mm of CFC/HCFC-free insulation around 225 litres of storage whose corners are rounded for cleaning. Racks, slides, the 2 mm handle and the feet (adjustable from 100 to 150 mm) are AISI 304, and the triple-chamber magnetic gasket on the A30/1B can be replaced. Temperature, -18/-22 °C, is set on an electronic control with the display flush to the panel.

Refrigeration data

The A30/1B has a rated cooling capacity of 453 W (evaporating at -30 °C, condensing at +55 °C). On 220-240 V 50 Hz it draws 810 W at 3.7 A, with hot gas defrost. Its energy label is class C, with an energy efficiency index of 39, 1,006 kWh a year and 2.756 kWh in 24 hours at climate class 5.

Its remote counterpart, the A30/1BR, moves the condensing unit out of the galley and its heat with it; it runs on R452a, is listed at 220-240 V 50-60 Hz and weighs 95 kg net against 115 kg. The glass-door A30/1BV shows the stock without opening the door but uses 1,968 kWh a year against 1,006 kWh for the A30/1B. In the same configuration, the larger A50/1B holds 417 litres gross in 630 mm, against 334 litres in 535 mm for the A30/1B.

According to Coldline, the Master Marine section is intended for ships and for oil and floating platforms, where Master refrigeration is combined with marine safety specifications. The figures on this page are those Coldline publishes for the standard A30/1B; there is no separate marine data sheet, so the marine construction is confirmed with Coldline when we quote. Coldline publishes the A30/1B at 220-240 V 50 Hz and lists a 60 Hz supply and other special voltages among its variants. Accessories for the A30/1B include stainless steel GN 1/1 shelves, 150 mm stainless steel drawers, bottle shelves, castors, an RS485 serial interface and Cosmo cable or Wi-Fi kits.

Size and handling

The A30/1B measures 535 mm wide, 715 mm deep and 2,085 mm high and weighs 115 kg net. Packed it is 835 × 830 × 2,145 mm and 135 kg, the size to check against doors, hatches and passageways on the way to the galley or provision store.
