Coldline Freezer Master 500 A50/1BV – 1 glass door, -18/-22 °C, Plug-in, 417 l

The Coldline A50/1BV is a single glass-door freezer from the Master 500 range, holding -18/-22 °C in a cabinet of 417 litres gross and 290 litres net. In the code A50/1BV, A50 is the 500 body, /1 the number of doors, B the -18/-22 °C range and V the glass door. The plug-in A50/1BV carries its own condensing unit, charged with 95 g of R290, GWP 3. Coldline offers the A50/1BV with its Master Marine solutions variant.

Construction

Coldline ships the A50/1BV with 3 slides for 42x53 cm shelves, 3 plastic coated 42x53 cm shelves, lock with key, LED lighting. The A50/1BV has a self-closing aluminium door with a 105° latch and right-hand hinges, glazed, as the V in the code shows. The 290 litre chamber is AISI 304 stainless steel with rounded corners inside a single body insulated with 75 mm of CFC/HCFC-free material; the back, base and technical compartment are galvanized/colaminated steel. Its magnetic triple-chamber gasket can be replaced, the handle is 2 mm AISI 304, and the AISI 304 feet adjust between 100 and 150 mm under the 2,085 mm high cabinet. Temperature, -18/-22 °C, is set on an electronic control with the display flush to the panel.

Refrigeration data

The A50/1BV has a rated cooling capacity of 453 W (evaporating at -30 °C, condensing at +55 °C). On 220-240 V 50 Hz it draws 810 W at 3.7 A, with hot gas defrost. Its energy label is class E, with an energy efficiency index of 84.8, 2,460 kWh a year and 6.739 kWh in 24 hours at climate class 4.

Its remote counterpart, the A50/1BRV, moves the condensing unit out of the galley and its heat with it; it runs on R452a, is listed at 220-240 V 50-60 Hz and weighs 110 kg net against 130 kg. With a solid door, as the A50/1B, published consumption falls from 2,460 to 1,310 kWh a year. In the same configuration, the smaller A30/1BV holds 334 litres gross in 535 mm width and the larger A60/1BV holds 512 litres gross in 740 mm, against 417 litres in 630 mm for the A50/1BV.

Marine version

Coldline describes its Master Marine section as made for installation on ships and on oil and floating platforms, combining Master refrigeration with the safety specifications of the marine industry. Coldline does not publish a separate data sheet for the marine build, so the data here is for the standard A50/1BV and the marine specification is agreed with Coldline at quotation. At 220-240 V 50 Hz as published, the A50/1BV can also be ordered with a 60 Hz supply or another special voltage, both listed as variants. Accessories for the A50/1BV include 150 mm stainless steel drawers, bottle shelves, castors, an RS485 serial interface and Cosmo cable or Wi-Fi kits.

Size and handling

The A50/1BV measures 630 mm wide, 715 mm deep and 2,085 mm high and weighs 130 kg net. Packed it is 835 × 830 × 2,145 mm and 150 kg, the size to check against doors, hatches and passageways on the way to the galley or provision store.
