Coldline Freezer Master 600 A60/1B – 1 door, -18/-22 °C, Plug-in, 512 l

The Coldline A60/1B is a single-door freezer from the Master 600 range, holding -18/-22 °C in a cabinet of 512 litres gross and 367 litres net. In the code A60/1B, A60 is the 600 body, /1 the number of doors and B the -18/-22 °C range. The plug-in A60/1B carries its own condensing unit, charged with 125 g of R290, GWP 3. Master Marine solutions appears among the variants Coldline lists for the A60/1B.

Build and fittings

Standard equipment for the A60/1B: 3 slides for 53x53 cm shelves, 3 plastic coated 53x53 cm shelves, lock with key, LED lighting. The A60/1B has a self-closing door with a 105° stop, hinged on the right. Inside and out the A60/1B is AISI 304 stainless steel, apart from a galvanized/colaminated back, base and technical compartment, with 75 mm of CFC/HCFC-free insulation around 367 litres of storage whose corners are rounded for cleaning. Its magnetic triple-chamber gasket can be replaced, the handle is 2 mm AISI 304, and the AISI 304 feet adjust between 100 and 150 mm under the 2,085 mm high cabinet. Temperature, -18/-22 °C, is set on an electronic control with the display flush to the panel.

Technical data

Coldline gives the A60/1B a cooling capacity of 453 W (evaporating at -30 °C, condensing at +55 °C) and a total rate of 810 W at 3.7 A on 220-240 V 50 Hz; defrost is hot gas. Its energy label is class C, with an energy efficiency index of 44, 1,444 kWh a year and 3.956 kWh in 24 hours at climate class 5.

Compared with other Master codes

Its remote counterpart, the A60/1BR, moves the condensing unit out of the galley and its heat with it; it runs on R452a, is listed at 220-240 V 50-60 Hz and weighs 110 kg net against 130 kg. The glass-door A60/1BV shows the stock without opening the door but uses 1,789 kWh a year against 1,444 kWh for the A60/1B. In the same configuration, the smaller A50/1B holds 417 litres gross in 630 mm width and the larger A120/2B holds 1,155 litres gross in 1,480 mm, against 512 litres in 740 mm for the A60/1B.

Marine version

Coldline builds the Master Marine section for installation on ships, oil platforms and floating platforms, pairing the Master series' refrigeration with the safety specifications vessels require. Coldline does not publish a separate data sheet for the marine build, so the data here is for the standard A60/1B and the marine specification is agreed with Coldline at quotation. At 220-240 V 50 Hz as published, the A60/1B can also be ordered with a 60 Hz supply or another special voltage, both listed as variants. Accessories for the A60/1B include 150 mm stainless steel drawers, bottle shelves, castors, an RS485 serial interface and Cosmo cable or Wi-Fi kits.

Getting it on board

The A60/1B measures 740 mm wide, 715 mm deep and 2,085 mm high and weighs 130 kg net. Packed it is 835 × 830 × 2,145 mm and 150 kg, the size to check against doors, hatches and passageways on the way to the galley or provision store.
