Coldline Freezer Master 650 A80/1BU – 1 door, -18/-22 °C, Plug-in, 573 l

The Coldline A80/1BU is a single-door freezer from the Master 650 range, holding -18/-22 °C in a cabinet of 573 litres gross and 450 litres net. In the code A80/1BU, A80 is the 650 body, /1 the number of doors and B the -18/-22 °C range. The plug-in A80/1BU carries its own condensing unit, charged with 150 g of R290, GWP 3. Master Marine solutions appears among the variants Coldline lists for the A80/1BU.

Inside the cabinet

As supplied, the A80/1BU comes with 3 slides for GN 2/1 shelves, 3 plastic coated GN 2/1 shelves, lock with key, LED lighting. The A80/1BU has a self-closing door with a 105° stop, hinged on the right. The 450 litre chamber is AISI 304 stainless steel with rounded corners inside a single body insulated with 75 mm of CFC/HCFC-free material; the back, base and technical compartment are galvanized/colaminated steel. On the A80/1BU the magnetic triple-chamber gaskets are replaceable, while racks, slides, the 2 mm handle and the 100/150 mm adjustable feet are AISI 304. Temperature, -18/-22 °C, is set on an electronic control with the display flush to the panel.

Cooling and energy

Coldline gives the A80/1BU a cooling capacity of 692 W (evaporating at -30 °C, condensing at +55 °C) and a total rate of 1,000 W at 4.6 A on 220-240 V 50 Hz; defrost is hot gas. Its energy label is class D, with an energy efficiency index of 56.7, 2,093 kWh a year and 5.734 kWh in 24 hours at climate class 5.

Choosing between codes

Its remote counterpart, the A80/1BUR, moves the condensing unit out of the galley and its heat with it; it runs on R452a, is listed at 220-240 V 50-60 Hz and weighs 115 kg net against 145 kg. The glass-door A80/1BUV shows the stock without opening the door but uses 2,510 kWh a year against 2,093 kWh for the A80/1BU.

Marine version

According to Coldline, the Master Marine section is intended for ships and for oil and floating platforms, where Master refrigeration is combined with marine safety specifications. The figures on this page are those Coldline publishes for the standard A80/1BU; there is no separate marine data sheet, so the marine construction is confirmed with Coldline when we quote. Coldline publishes the A80/1BU at 220-240 V 50 Hz and lists a 60 Hz supply and other special voltages among its variants. Dimensions and weight

External dimensions of the A80/1BU are 810 × 715 × 2,085 mm (W × D × H) and net weight is 145 kg. In its packing it grows to 905 × 830 × 2,145 mm and 165 kg, which is what has to pass the doors and hatches on the route aboard.
