Coldline Freezer Master 650 A80/1BUV – 1 glass door, -18/-22 °C, Plug-in, 573 l

The Coldline A80/1BUV is a single glass-door freezer from the Master 650 range, holding -18/-22 °C in a cabinet of 573 litres gross and 450 litres net. In the code A80/1BUV, A80 is the 650 body, /1 the number of doors, B the -18/-22 °C range and V the glass door. The plug-in A80/1BUV carries its own condensing unit, charged with 150 g of R290, GWP 3. Coldline offers the A80/1BUV with its Master Marine solutions variant.

Construction

Standard equipment for the A80/1BUV: 3 slides for GN 2/1 shelves, 3 plastic coated GN 2/1 shelves, lock with key, LED lighting. The A80/1BUV has a self-closing aluminium door with a 105° latch and right-hand hinges, glazed, as the V in the code shows. Inside and out the A80/1BUV is AISI 304 stainless steel, apart from a galvanized/colaminated back, base and technical compartment, with 75 mm of CFC/HCFC-free insulation around 450 litres of storage whose corners are rounded for cleaning. On the A80/1BUV the magnetic triple-chamber gaskets are replaceable, while racks, slides, the 2 mm handle and the 100/150 mm adjustable feet are AISI 304. An electronic controller with a flush display sets the -18/-22 °C range.

Cooling and energy

The A80/1BUV has a rated cooling capacity of 692 W (evaporating at -30 °C, condensing at +55 °C). On 220-240 V 50 Hz it draws 1,000 W at 4.6 A, with hot gas defrost. Its energy label is class D, with an energy efficiency index of 68, 2,510 kWh a year and 6.876 kWh in 24 hours at climate class 4.

Choosing between codes

Its remote counterpart, the A80/1BURV, moves the condensing unit out of the galley and its heat with it; it runs on R452a, is listed at 220-240 V 50-60 Hz and weighs 130 kg net against 160 kg. With a solid door, as the A80/1BU, published consumption falls from 2,510 to 2,093 kWh a year.

Marine version

According to Coldline, the Master Marine section is intended for ships and for oil and floating platforms, where Master refrigeration is combined with marine safety specifications. What is published is the data for the standard A80/1BUV. The marine build has no data sheet of its own, and we confirm its details with Coldline before an order. At 220-240 V 50 Hz as published, the A80/1BUV can also be ordered with a 60 Hz supply or another special voltage, both listed as variants. Accessories for the A80/1BUV include stainless steel GN 2/1 shelves, castors, an RS485 serial interface and Cosmo cable or Wi-Fi kits.

Getting it on board

External dimensions of the A80/1BUV are 810 × 715 × 2,085 mm (W × D × H) and net weight is 160 kg. In its packing it grows to 905 × 830 × 2,145 mm and 180 kg, which is what has to pass the doors and hatches on the route aboard.
