Coldline Freezer Master 700 A70/1BV – 1 glass door, -18/-22 °C, Plug-in, 601 l

The Coldline A70/1BV is a single glass-door freezer from the Master 700 range, holding -18/-22 °C in a cabinet of 601 litres gross and 450 litres net. In the code A70/1BV, A70 is the 700 body, /1 the number of doors, B the -18/-22 °C range and V the glass door. The plug-in A70/1BV carries its own condensing unit, charged with 150 g of R290, GWP 3. Master Marine solutions appears among the variants Coldline lists for the A70/1BV.

Inside the cabinet

As supplied, the A70/1BV comes with 3 slides for GN 2/1 shelves, 3 plastic coated GN 2/1 shelves, lock with key, LED lighting. The A70/1BV has a self-closing aluminium door with a 105° latch and right-hand hinges, glazed, as the V in the code shows. A 75 mm insulated single body in AISI 304 stainless steel, with galvanized/colaminated back, base and technical compartment, encloses 450 litres of storage with rounded inner corners. On the A70/1BV the magnetic triple-chamber gaskets are replaceable, while racks, slides, the 2 mm handle and the 100/150 mm adjustable feet are AISI 304. Temperature, -18/-22 °C, is set on an electronic control with the display flush to the panel.

Cooling and energy

The A70/1BV has a rated cooling capacity of 453 W (evaporating at -30 °C, condensing at +55 °C). On 220-240 V 50 Hz it draws 1,000 W at 4.6 A, with hot gas defrost. Its energy label is class E, with an energy efficiency index of 83.6, 3,083 kWh a year and 8.446 kWh in 24 hours at climate class 4.

Choosing between codes

Its remote counterpart, the A70/1BRV, moves the condensing unit out of the galley and its heat with it; it runs on R452a, is listed at 220-240 V 50-60 Hz and weighs 135 kg net against 155 kg. In the same configuration, the smaller A60/1BV holds 512 litres gross in 740 mm width and the larger A120/2BV holds 1,155 litres gross in 1,480 mm, against 601 litres in 740 mm for the A70/1BV.

Marine version

Coldline describes its Master Marine section as made for installation on ships and on oil and floating platforms, combining Master refrigeration with the safety specifications of the marine industry. Coldline does not publish a separate data sheet for the marine build, so the data here is for the standard A70/1BV and the marine specification is agreed with Coldline at quotation. Coldline publishes the A70/1BV at 220-240 V 50 Hz and lists a 60 Hz supply and other special voltages among its variants. Accessories for the A70/1BV include stainless steel GN 2/1 shelves, 150 mm stainless steel drawers, bottle shelves, castors, an RS485 serial interface and Cosmo cable or Wi-Fi kits.

Dimensions and weight

External dimensions of the A70/1BV are 740 × 815 × 2,085 mm (W × D × H) and net weight is 155 kg. In its packing it grows to 835 × 930 × 2,145 mm and 175 kg, which is what has to pass the doors and hatches on the route aboard.
