The Coldline A70/2MB is a two half-door multi-temperature cabinet from the Master Combi 700 range, holding -2/+8 °C and -18/-22 °C in a cabinet of 562 litres gross and 173 + 173 litres net. In the code A70/2MB, A70 is the 700 body, /2 the number of doors and MB the compartment ranges in order (-2/+8 °C, -18/-22 °C). Its 173 + 173 litres are split between compartments, so chilled stock and frozen stock are kept in one 740 mm wide body behind separate doors. The plug-in A70/2MB carries its own condensing unit, charged with 90 g of R290, GWP 3. Master Marine solutions appears among the variants Coldline lists for the A70/2MB.

Construction

As supplied, the A70/2MB comes with 4 slides for GN 2/1 shelves, 4 plastic coated GN 2/1 shelves, lock with key, LED lighting. The A70/2MB has two self-closing half doors with a 105° stop, hinged on the right. A 75 mm insulated single body in AISI 304 stainless steel, with galvanized/colaminated back, base and technical compartment, encloses 173 + 173 litres of storage with rounded inner corners. Racks, slides, the 2 mm handle and the feet (adjustable from 100 to 150 mm) are AISI 304, and the triple-chamber magnetic gaskets on the A70/2MB can be replaced. An electronic controller with a flush display sets the compartment temperatures.

Cooling and energy

The A70/2MB has a rated cooling capacity of 406 W / 356 W (evaporating at -10 °C/-30 °C, condensing at +55 °C). On 220-240 V 50 Hz it draws 720 W at 3.3 A, with hot gas defrost. The A70/2MB is rated for climate class 5; no energy label figures are published for this multi-temperature code.

Choosing between codes

Its remote counterpart, the A70/2MBR, moves the condensing unit out of the galley and its heat with it; it runs on R452a, is listed at 220-240 V 50-60 Hz and weighs 135 kg net against 170 kg. The same 2-door body is also listed as A70/2MM (-2/+8 °C / -2/+8 °C) and A70/2PB (-6/+4 °C / -18/-22 °C).
