The Coldline A140/2P is a two-door fish refrigerator from the Master Fish 1400 range, holding -6/+4 °C in a cabinet of 1,356 litres gross and 899 litres net. In the code A140/2P, A140 is the 1400 body, /2 the number of doors and P the -6/+4 °C range. The plug-in A140/2P carries its own condensing unit, charged with 105 g of R290, GWP 3. Master Marine solutions appears among the variants Coldline lists for the A140/2P.

Build and fittings

As supplied, the A140/2P comes with 6 slides for GN 2/1 shelves, 12 ABS GN 1/1 pans, lock with key, LED lighting, water drain. The A140/2P has two self-closing doors with a 105° stop, hinged on the right. A 75 mm insulated single body in AISI 304 stainless steel, with galvanized/colaminated back, base and technical compartment, encloses 899 litres of storage with rounded inner corners. On the A140/2P the magnetic triple-chamber gaskets are replaceable, while racks, slides, the 2 mm handle and the 100/150 mm adjustable feet are AISI 304. Temperature, -6/+4 °C, is set on an electronic control with the display flush to the panel. The fish section is Coldline's answer to storing fresh fish: molluscs, crustaceans, fish slices, fillets and whole fish. In the A140/2P the ABS GN 1/1 pans sit over a water drain.

Refrigeration data

The A140/2P has a rated cooling capacity of 533 W (evaporating at -10 °C, condensing at +55 °C). On 220-240 V 50 Hz it draws 260 W at 1.2 A, with hot gas defrost. Its energy label is class B, with an energy efficiency index of 30.9, 644 kWh a year and 1.764 kWh in 24 hours at climate class 5.

Compared with other Master codes

Its remote counterpart, the A140/2PR, moves the condensing unit out of the galley and its heat with it; it runs on R452a, is listed at 220-240 V 50-60 Hz and weighs 200 kg net against 210 kg.

Marine version

Coldline describes its Master Marine section as made for installation on ships and on oil and floating platforms, combining Master refrigeration with the safety specifications of the marine industry. The figures on this page are those Coldline publishes for the standard A140/2P; there is no separate marine data sheet, so the marine construction is confirmed with Coldline when we quote. At 220-240 V 50 Hz as published, the A140/2P can also be ordered with a 60 Hz supply or another special voltage, both listed as variants. Accessories for the A140/2P include stainless steel GN 2/1 shelves, 150 mm stainless steel drawers, bottle shelves, castors, an RS485 serial interface and Cosmo cable or Wi-Fi kits.

Getting it on board

External dimensions of the A140/2P are 1,480 × 815 × 2,085 mm (W × D × H) and net weight is 210 kg. In its packing it grows to 1,575 × 930 × 2,145 mm and 220 kg, which is what has to pass the doors and hatches on the route aboard.
