The Coldline A140/2MP is a two-door multi-temperature cabinet from the Master Fish Combi 1400 range, holding -2/+8 °C and -6/+4 °C in a cabinet of 1,203 litres gross and 899 litres net. In the code A140/2MP, A140 is the 1400 body, /2 the number of doors and MP the compartment ranges in order (-2/+8 °C, -6/+4 °C). Its 899 litres are split between compartments, so chilled stock and fish are kept in one 1,480 mm wide body behind separate doors. The plug-in A140/2MP carries its own condensing unit, charged with 90 g of R290, GWP 3. The A140/2MP is one of the Master codes for which Coldline lists a Master Marine solutions variant.

Build and fittings

Coldline ships the A140/2MP with 6 slides for GN 2/1 shelves, 3 plastic coated GN 2/1 shelves, 6 ABS GN 1/1 pans, lock with key, LED lighting, water drain. The A140/2MP has two self-closing doors with a 105° stop, hinged on the right. A 75 mm insulated single body in AISI 304 stainless steel, with galvanized/colaminated back, base and technical compartment, encloses 899 litres of storage with rounded inner corners. On the A140/2MP the magnetic triple-chamber gaskets are replaceable, while racks, slides, the 2 mm handle and the 100/150 mm adjustable feet are AISI 304. Compartment temperatures are set on an electronic control with the display flush to the panel. The fish section is Coldline's answer to storing fresh fish: molluscs, crustaceans, fish slices, fillets and whole fish. In the A140/2MP the ABS GN 1/1 pans sit over a water drain.

Cooling and energy

Coldline gives the A140/2MP a cooling capacity of 406 W / 533 W (evaporating at -10 °C, condensing at +55 °C) and a total rate of 480 W at 2.2 A on 220-240 V 50 Hz; defrost is hot gas. Its energy label is class C, with an energy efficiency index of 44.1, 920 kWh a year and 2.521 kWh in 24 hours at climate class 5.

Choosing between codes

Its remote counterpart, the A140/2MPR, moves the condensing unit out of the galley and its heat with it; it runs on R452a, is listed at 220-240 V 50-60 Hz and weighs 210 kg net against 230 kg. The same 2-door body is also listed as A140/2MM (-2/+8 °C / -2/+8 °C) and A140/2MB (-2/+8 °C / -18/-22 °C).

Marine version

Coldline builds the Master Marine section for installation on ships, oil platforms and floating platforms, pairing the Master series' refrigeration with the safety specifications vessels require. Getting it on board

External dimensions of the A140/2MP are 1,480 × 815 × 2,085 mm (W × D × H) and net weight is 230 kg. In its packing it grows to 1,575 × 930 × 2,144 mm and 240 kg, which is what has to pass the doors and hatches on the route aboard.
