The Coldline A70/2PBR is a two half-door multi-temperature cabinet from the Master Fish Combi 700 range, holding -6/+4 °C and -18/-22 °C in a cabinet of 562 litres gross and 345 litres net. In the code A70/2PBR, A70 is the 700 body, /2 the number of doors, PB the compartment ranges in order (-6/+4 °C, -18/-22 °C) and R the remote refrigeration. Its 345 litres are split between compartments, so fish and frozen stock are kept in one 740 mm wide body behind separate doors. As the remote version, the A70/2PBR has no condensing unit of its own: it connects to one sited elsewhere through Ø 1/4" + Ø 3/8" delivery and Ø 3/8" + Ø 3/8" suction pipes and runs on R452a, GWP 2,141. Coldline lists the EMT6144GK and NT2178GK remote condensing units as accessories for it. Master Marine solutions appears among the variants Coldline lists for the A70/2PBR.

Construction

Coldline ships the A70/2PBR with 4 slides for GN 2/1 shelves, 2 plastic coated GN 2/1 shelves, 4 ABS GN 1/1 pans, lock with key, LED lighting, water drain. The A70/2PBR has two self-closing half doors with a 105° stop, hinged on the right. A 75 mm insulated single body in AISI 304 stainless steel, with galvanized/colaminated back, base and technical compartment, encloses 345 litres of storage with rounded inner corners. On the A70/2PBR the magnetic triple-chamber gaskets are replaceable, while racks, slides, the 2 mm handle and the 100/150 mm adjustable feet are AISI 304. The A70/2PBR is run from an electronic control whose display sits flush with the panel. The fish section is Coldline's answer to storing fresh fish: molluscs, crustaceans, fish slices, fillets and whole fish. In the A70/2PBR the ABS GN 1/1 pans sit over a water drain.

Technical data

The A70/2PBR has a rated cooling capacity of 368 W / 540 W (evaporating at -10 °C/-30 °C, condensing at +55 °C). On 220-240 V 50-60 Hz it draws 1,530 W at 7 A, with electric defrost. No energy label is published for the remote A70/2PBR, whose consumption depends on the condensing unit it is paired with; a solenoid valve is supplied as standard.

Compared with other Master codes

The plug-in A70/2PB has the same temperature ranges but carries its own R290 unit: it weighs 170 kg net against 135 kg for the A70/2PBR, and is listed at 220-240 V 50 Hz instead of 220-240 V 50-60 Hz. The same 2-door body is also listed as A70/2MMR (-2/+8 °C / -2/+8 °C) and A70/2MBR (-2/+8 °C / -18/-22 °C).

Marine version

Coldline describes its Master Marine section as made for installation on ships and on oil and floating platforms, combining Master refrigeration with the safety specifications of the marine industry. Coldline does not publish a separate data sheet for the marine build, so the data here is for the standard A70/2PBR and the marine specification is agreed with Coldline at quotation. The remote A70/2PBR is listed for 220-240 V 50-60 Hz, and other special voltages appear among its variants. Accessories for the A70/2PBR include stainless steel GN 2/1 shelves, 150 mm stainless steel drawers, bottle shelves, castors, an RS485 serial interface and Cosmo cable or Wi-Fi kits.

Dimensions and weight

The A70/2PBR measures 740 mm wide, 815 mm deep and 2,085 mm high and weighs 135 kg net. Packed it is 835 × 930 × 2,138 mm and 155 kg, the size to check against doors, hatches and passageways on the way to the galley or provision store.
