Hoshizaki Cube Ice Maker IM-130APE-U – Modular, Air-cooled, 125 kg/24h, L Cube

Hoshizaki rates the modular IM-130APE-U at 125 kg of cubes per 24 hours, and you pair it with a storage bin sized to the ice needed at the start of service (Hoshizaki lists the B-140SB, B-210SB, B-340SB). That works out to roughly 5.2 kg an hour.

The version suffix tells you what is inside: the IM-130APE-U is the UltraCUBE and comes with UV-C sanitization of the water tank. The UV-C lamp keeps the standing water in the tank treated between cleanings of this 125 kg/day machine. Cube size on the IM-130APE-U is L (28 x 28 x 32 mm), the standard size with no suffix. The same machine also comes as IM-130APE (Basic Cube). With a different cube it is the IM-130APE-U-23 (M cube, 100 kg a day).
