Hoshizaki Cube Ice Maker IM-130PE-F-32 – Self-Contained, Air-cooled, 108 kg/24h, XL Cube

With 108 kg of cubes a day and a 50 kg storage bin, the IM-130PE-F-32 is a self-contained air-cooled cube machine for bars, pantries and small galleys. That works out to roughly 4.5 kg an hour. An empty 50 kg bin fills in roughly 11 hours at that rate.

Choosing the version

The version suffix tells you what is inside: the IM-130PE-F-32 is the FlexiCUBE and comes with a built-in drain pump. The cabinet is 704 mm wide, 506 mm deep and 1,210 mm tall before legs (add 70-110mm), and weighs 73 kg. It draws 0.615 kW from a single-phase 220-240 V 50 Hz supply, within ±6%, on a 5 A breaker. Plan for 1.45 kW of heat into the space at 32 °C. Daily water use is 400 liters, or roughly 3.7 liters for every kilo of ice. Refrigerant is 140 g of flammable R290 (A3), a figure the yard or class surveyor will ask for. Hoshizaki lists automated cleaning and internal drain pump for the IM-130PE-F-32.

Operating limits for the IM-130PE-F-32 are 1 to 40 °C ambient, 5 to 35 °C water and 0.7 to 8 bar, so check the space and the fresh water line against those.
