Hoshizaki Cube Ice Maker IM-130PE-U-32 – Self-Contained, Air-cooled, 108 kg/24h, XL Cube

The IM-130PE-U-32 makes up to 108 kg of cubes a day and keeps 50 kg of it in its own bin, so it only needs power, water and a drain to start working. Averaged out, the machine turns out about 4.5 kg an hour. At that rate the 50 kg bin takes around 11 hours to rebuild after a busy service.

As the UltraCUBE version of the IM-130PE, this machine comes with UV-C sanitization of the water tank. UV-C flashes treat the IM-130PE-U-32's water tank between cleanings. Cube size on the IM-130PE-U-32 is XL (32 x 32 x 32 mm), marked by the -32 in the code. The same machine also comes as IM-130PE-32 (Basic Cube), IM-130PE-F-32 (FlexiCUBE) and IM-130PE-E-32 (EliteCUBE). The cabinet is 704 mm wide, 506 mm deep and 1,210 mm tall before legs (add 70-110mm), and weighs 72 kg. It draws 0.615 kW from a single-phase 220-240 V 50 Hz supply, within ±6%, on a 5 A breaker. At 32 °C room temperature it releases 1.45 kW of heat. Water consumption comes to 400 liters per 24 hours, or roughly 3.7 liters for every kilo of ice. Refrigerant is 140 g of flammable R290 (A3), a figure the yard or class surveyor will ask for. On the control side the IM-130PE-U-32 gives you automated cleaning and UV-C sanitization.

Where the IM-130PE-U-32 fits

Operating limits for the IM-130PE-U-32 are 1 to 40 °C ambient, 5 to 35 °C water and 0.7 to 8 bar, so check the space and the fresh water line against those. Air-cooled, it puts its 1.45 kW of heat straight into the room, so a closed pantry needs some ventilation. The matching water filter for 108 kg a day is the 4HC-H single system.
