Hoshizaki Cube Ice Maker IM-240DPE-U Overview
The IM-240DPE-U is a modular cube head. It makes up to 210 kg of cubes a day but has no bin of its own, so it is always ordered with a storage bin (Hoshizaki lists the B-340SB). Averaged out, the machine turns out about 8.8 kg an hour.
Choosing the version
This 210 kg/day machine is the UltraCUBE build, so it has UV-C sanitization of the water tank. UV-C flashes treat the IM-240DPE-U's water tank between cleanings. The IM-240DPE-U makes the L cube, 28 x 28 x 32 mm, the standard size with no suffix. If the version does not suit, the same body is sold as IM-240DPE (Basic Cube). Other cube sizes: IM-240DPE-U-23 (M cube, 180 kg a day) and IM-240DPE-U-32 (XL cube, 190 kg a day).
