Hoshizaki Cube Ice Maker IM-240PE-F-23 – Self-Contained, Air-cooled, 180 kg/24h, M Cube

The Hoshizaki IM-240PE-F-23 is a self-contained air-cooled cube ice maker producing up to 180 kg of cubes in 24 hours, with an 110 kg built-in storage bin. In the IM CUBE range it is the FlexiCUBE with drain pump and it makes the M cube (28 × 28 × 23 mm) shown by the -23 suffix.

Choosing between versions

The same machine is listed as IM-240PE-23 (Cube), IM-240PE-U-23 (UltraCUBE) and IM-240PE-E-23 (EliteCUBE). Other cube sizes of the IM-240PE: IM-240PE-F, L cube, 210 kg a day. Marine installation

Hoshizaki gives operating limits of ambient temperatures from 1 to 40 °C, water supply temperatures from 5 to 35 °C and water pressure from 0.7 to 8 bar, which is what the space and the vessel's fresh water system have to meet for the IM-240PE-F-23. Its drain pump discharges up to 10 m horizontally and 1.5 m in height, so the IM-240PE-F-23 does not have to sit next to a deck drain. Being air-cooled, it rejects its heat into the space, so the ventilation of the galley or bar has to take it.
