Hoshizaki Cube Ice Maker IM-240WPE-E-23 – Self-Contained, Water-cooled, 190 kg/24h, M Cube

The Hoshizaki IM-240WPE-E-23 is a self-contained water-cooled cube ice maker producing up to 190 kg of cubes in 24 hours, with an 110 kg built-in storage bin. In the IM CUBE range it is the EliteCUBE with drain pump and UV-C sanitization and it makes the M cube (28 × 28 × 23 mm) shown by the -23 suffix.

Marine installation

Hoshizaki gives operating limits of ambient temperatures from 1 to 40 °C, water supply temperatures from 5 to 35 °C and water pressure from 0.7 to 8 bar, which is what the space and the vessel's fresh water system have to meet for the IM-240WPE-E-23. Its drain pump discharges up to 10 m horizontally and 1.5 m in height, so the IM-240WPE-E-23 does not have to sit next to a deck drain. Being water-cooled, it takes cooling water as well as feed water, and releases far less heat into a small bar or pantry than an air-cooled machine.
