Up to 190 kg of cubes a day from a water-cooled head that sits on a separate bin: the IM-240XWPE-32 is built for ice rooms and busy bars rather than a counter. Hoshizaki pairs the IM-240XWPE-32 with the B-340SB. This is the extension unit: it stacks on a base unit of the same series and adds its output over one bin. That works out to roughly 7.9 kg an hour.

This 190 kg/day machine is the Basic Cube build, so it has no drain pump and no UV-C unit. You get XL cubes, 32 x 32 x 32 mm, at 190 kg a day, marked by the -32 in the code. If the version does not suit, the same body is sold as IM-240XWPE-U-32 (UltraCUBE). With a different cube it is the IM-240XWPE-23 (M cube, 190 kg a day) and IM-240XWPE (L cube, 209 kg a day). At 32 °C room temperature it releases 1.47 kW of heat. Water consumption comes to 890 liters per 24 hours, or roughly 4.7 liters for every kilo of ice. Its refrigerant is R290 (propane, class A3), 147 g of it, which matters when you decide where the IM-240XWPE-32 goes. On the control side the IM-240XWPE-32 gives you automated cleaning.

Where the IM-240XWPE-32 fits

The IM-240XWPE-32 is rated for rooms at 1 to 40 °C, with feed water between 5 and 35 °C at 0.7 to 8 bar. With water cooling, only 1.47 kW reaches the room; the price is roughly 890 liters of water per day. For water treatment, fit the 4HC-H twin filter ahead of the IM-240XWPE-32.
