Hoshizaki Cube Ice Maker IM-45CPE-U-25 – Self-Contained, Air-cooled, 42 kg/24h, S Cube

With 42 kg of cubes a day and a 15 kg storage bin, the IM-45CPE-U-25 is a self-contained air-cooled cube machine for bars, pantries and small galleys. Averaged out, the machine turns out about 1.8 kg an hour. From empty, its 15 kg bin takes about 8.6 hours to fill.

As the UltraCUBE version of the IM-45CPE, this machine comes with UV-C sanitization of the water tank. Between scheduled cleanings, UV-C light treats the tank water inside the IM-45CPE-U-25. Footprint is 633 x 521 mm with a height of 690 mm before legs (add 90-125 mm); net weight is 44 kg. Power draw is 0.245 kW on single-phase 220-240 V 50 Hz, within ±6%, on a 5 A breaker. Plan for 0.71 kW of heat into the space at 32 °C. Water consumption comes to 200 liters per 24 hours, or roughly 4.8 liters for every kilo of ice. The IM-45CPE-U-25 runs on 70 g of R290, which is propane (safety class A3), so the charge belongs on the installation paperwork. On the control side the IM-45CPE-U-25 gives you automated cleaning and UV-C sanitization.

Keep the room around the IM-45CPE-U-25 between 1 and 40 °C and the incoming water between 5 and 35 °C at 0.7 to 8 bar. Air-cooled, it puts its 0.71 kW of heat straight into the room, so a closed pantry needs some ventilation. Hoshizaki matches the IM-45CPE-U-25 with the 4HC-H single filter system.
