Hoshizaki Cube Ice Maker IM-45WPE-E-25 – Self-Contained, Water-cooled, 47 kg/24h, S Cube

With 47 kg of cubes a day and a 18 kg storage bin, the IM-45WPE-E-25 is a self-contained water-cooled cube machine for bars, pantries and small galleys. That works out to roughly 2 kg an hour. From empty, its 18 kg bin takes about 9.2 hours to fill.

The version suffix tells you what is inside: the IM-45WPE-E-25 is the EliteCUBE and comes with both the drain pump and UV-C sanitization. The cabinet is 503 mm wide, 456 mm deep and 840 mm tall before legs (add 90-125 mm), and weighs 46 kg. It draws 0.22 kW from a single-phase 220-240 V 50 Hz supply, within ±6%, on a 5 A breaker. Heat released into the room is 0.44 kW at 32 °C ambient. Water consumption comes to 260 liters per 24 hours, or roughly 5.5 liters for every kilo of ice. Its refrigerant is R290 (propane, class A3), 90 g of it, which matters when you decide where the IM-45WPE-E-25 goes. On the control side the IM-45WPE-E-25 gives you automated cleaning, UV-C sanitization and internal drain pump.

The IM-45WPE-E-25 is rated for rooms at 1 to 40 °C, with feed water between 5 and 35 °C at 0.7 to 8 bar. The water-cooled condenser suits tight, badly ventilated spaces, but the IM-45WPE-E-25 needs a steady supply of cooling water, around 260 liters a day in total.
