Hoshizaki Cube Ice Maker IM-65PE-E – Self-Contained, Air-cooled, 58 kg/24h, L Cube

The Hoshizaki IM-65PE-E is a self-contained air-cooled cube ice maker producing up to 58 kg of cubes in 24 hours, with a 26 kg built-in storage bin. In the IM CUBE range it is the EliteCUBE with drain pump and UV-C sanitization and it makes the L cube (28 × 28 × 32 mm), the standard size with no suffix.

Installing it on a vessel

Hoshizaki gives operating limits of ambient temperatures from 1 to 40 °C, water supply temperatures from 5 to 35 °C and water pressure from 0.7 to 8 bar, which is what the space and the vessel's fresh water system have to meet for the IM-65PE-E. Its drain pump discharges up to 10 m horizontally and 1.5 m in height, so the IM-65PE-E does not have to sit next to a deck drain. Being air-cooled, it rejects its heat into the space, so the ventilation of the galley or bar has to take it.
