Hoshizaki Cube Ice Maker IM-65WPE-E-25 – Self-Contained, Water-cooled, 54 kg/24h, S Cube

With 54 kg of cubes a day and a 26 kg storage bin, the IM-65WPE-E-25 is a self-contained water-cooled cube machine for bars, pantries and small galleys. Spread over a day, it is about 2.2 kg per hour. At that rate the 26 kg bin takes around 12 hours to rebuild after a busy service.

Which IM-65WPE to pick

In the IM CUBE family the IM-65WPE-E-25 is the EliteCUBE, which means both the drain pump and UV-C sanitization. The pump in the IM-65WPE-E-25 pushes waste water up to 10 m sideways and 1.5 m up, which helps on a ship where the deck drain is rarely next to the bar. The UV-C lamp keeps the standing water in the tank treated between cleanings of this 54 kg/day machine. Each cube from the IM-65WPE-E-25 is 25 x 25 x 23 mm (size S), marked by the -25 in the code. Plan for 0.43 kW of heat into the space at 32 °C. Water consumption comes to 430 liters per 24 hours, or roughly 8 liters for every kilo of ice. Its refrigerant is R290 (propane, class A3), 110 g of it, which matters when you decide where the IM-65WPE-E-25 goes. Keep the room around the IM-65WPE-E-25 between 1 and 40 °C and the incoming water between 5 and 35 °C at 0.7 to 8 bar.
