Hoshizaki Cube Ice Maker IM-65WPE-U-25 Overview
With 54 kg of cubes a day and a 26 kg storage bin, the IM-65WPE-U-25 is a self-contained water-cooled cube machine for bars, pantries and small galleys. That works out to roughly 2.2 kg an hour. An empty 26 kg bin fills in roughly 12 hours at that rate.
Choosing the version
As the UltraCUBE version of the IM-65WPE, this machine comes with UV-C sanitization of the water tank. Between scheduled cleanings, UV-C light treats the tank water inside the IM-65WPE-U-25. The IM-65WPE-U-25 makes the S cube, 25 x 25 x 23 mm, marked by the -25 in the code. Heat released into the room is 0.43 kW at 32 °C ambient. It uses about 430 liters of water a day, or roughly 8 liters for every kilo of ice. Its refrigerant is R290 (propane, class A3), 110 g of it, which matters when you decide where the IM-65WPE-U-25 goes. Hoshizaki lists automated cleaning and UV-C sanitization for the IM-65WPE-U-25.
