Coldline Freezer Master 600 A60/1BV – 1 glass door, -18/-22 °C, Plug-in, 512 l

The Coldline A60/1BV is a single glass-door freezer from the Master 600 range, holding -18/-22 °C in a cabinet of 512 litres gross and 367 litres net. In the code A60/1BV, A60 is the 600 body, /1 the number of doors, B the -18/-22 °C range and V the glass door. The plug-in A60/1BV carries its own condensing unit, charged with 150 g of R290, GWP 3. Master Marine solutions appears among the variants Coldline lists for the A60/1BV.

Inside the cabinet

Coldline ships the A60/1BV with 3 slides for 53x53 cm shelves, 3 plastic coated 53x53 cm shelves, lock with key, LED lighting. The A60/1BV has a self-closing aluminium door with a 105° latch and right-hand hinges, glazed, as the V in the code shows. The 367 litre chamber is AISI 304 stainless steel with rounded corners inside a single body insulated with 75 mm of CFC/HCFC-free material; the back, base and technical compartment are galvanized/colaminated steel. On the A60/1BV the magnetic triple-chamber gaskets are replaceable, while racks, slides, the 2 mm handle and the 100/150 mm adjustable feet are AISI 304. The A60/1BV is run from an electronic control whose display sits flush with the panel.

Technical data

The A60/1BV has a rated cooling capacity of 692 W (evaporating at -30 °C, condensing at +55 °C). On 220-240 V 50 Hz it draws 1,000 W at 4.6 A, with hot gas defrost. Its energy label is class D, with an energy efficiency index of 54.5, 1,789 kWh a year and 4.901 kWh in 24 hours at climate class 4.

Choosing between codes

Its remote counterpart, the A60/1BRV, moves the condensing unit out of the galley and its heat with it; it runs on R452a, is listed at 220-240 V 50-60 Hz and weighs 125 kg net against 145 kg. With a solid door, as the A60/1B, published consumption falls from 1,789 to 1,444 kWh a year. In the same configuration, the smaller A50/1BV holds 417 litres gross in 630 mm width and the larger A70/1BV holds 601 litres gross in 740 mm, against 512 litres in 740 mm for the A60/1BV.

Marine version

According to Coldline, the Master Marine section is intended for ships and for oil and floating platforms, where Master refrigeration is combined with marine safety specifications. What is published is the data for the standard A60/1BV. The marine build has no data sheet of its own, and we confirm its details with Coldline before an order. Coldline publishes the A60/1BV at 220-240 V 50 Hz and lists a 60 Hz supply and other special voltages among its variants. Accessories for the A60/1BV include 150 mm stainless steel drawers, bottle shelves, castors, an RS485 serial interface and Cosmo cable or Wi-Fi kits.

Size and handling

The A60/1BV measures 740 mm wide, 715 mm deep and 2,085 mm high and weighs 145 kg net. Packed it is 835 × 830 × 2,145 mm and 165 kg, the size to check against doors, hatches and passageways on the way to the galley or provision store.
